Pedraza Ancestry · Version 1.30.97 · 10/18/2026 · Live site version 996
Pedraza Ancestry is a private genealogy platform with a limited public-facing component. Visitors may browse publicly available information, including the names of individuals—living or deceased—who are part of our family tree. No photographs or personal details of living individuals are displayed publicly.
Access to profile information and additional photos requires user registration. Registered users may view expanded content and, once associated with a specific individual in the tree, may control the visibility of their own profile and any photos they choose to upload. You may turn your profile and images on or off at any time.
We process personal information on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interest in preserving family history, and your right to control how your information is shared. We collect only the information necessary to maintain the integrity of the family tree and to provide you with the features of the site. We do not sell, trade, or disclose your personal data to third parties.
We take privacy and data security seriously. Appropriate technical and administrative safeguards are in place to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
Thank you for your trust and for contributing to the preservation of our shared heritage. Your participation helps ensure that our family’s story is protected for future generations.
The name at the top reflects the origin of my family name, which comes from the historic town of Pedraza in the Province of Segovia, Spain. Within the circular emblem, you’ll find two landmarks that represent this heritage: the Cathedral of Segovia on the left and the iconic Alcázar of Segovia on the right.
Along the bottom, the flags symbolize the countries that form our families’ journey. The sequence begins with Spain, where our roots lie, followed by Cuba, representing the significant migration of our relatives, and ultimately the United States, where our families came together. The remaining flags honor all other nations connected to our lineage along the way.

Recent release history · maintained
1.30.96 · 10/18/2026: (Live site version 995) Restores horizontal and vertical finger panning after pinch zoom in the shared picture viewer on phones and tablets, while keeping photo swipes at normal zoom and refreshing the viewer script cache.
1.30.95 · 10/18/2026: (Live site version 994) Makes mirror offline downloads read the mirror’s synchronized database and original media directly instead of forwarding each request to Sites, retaining signed-in access checks and resumable transfers.
1.30.94 · 10/18/2026: (Live site version 993) Loads the offline downloader directly after confirmed sign-in so a redundant preparation request cannot disable the Help button; download requests continue to enforce account permissions on the server.
1.30.93 · 10/18/2026: (Live site version 992) Restores the Help introduction and offline download button to the established left alignment, with room extending to the right, and waits for restored sign-in before preparing downloads for all registered users.
1.30.92 · 10/18/2026: (Live site version 991) Adds registered-user offline website downloads from Help with original-quality media, account-specific access filtering, resumable transfers, verified reuse of unchanged files, portable ZIP or folder output, and a full-width Help introduction.
1.30.91 · 10/17/2026: (Live site version 990) Adds left/right touch swipes to the shared picture viewer on phones and tablets, retaining edge arrows and preserving pinch zoom, zoomed panning, vertical gestures, and face-tag editing.
1.30.90 · 10/17/2026: (Live site version 989) Completes preservation checks for offline links and exact source commits, retains contribution decision history with retired temporary-upload references documented separately, and adds verified dependency caching and a secret-free recovery configuration template.
1.30.89 · 10/17/2026: (Live site version 988) Hardens preservation recovery against overwriting existing files and unsafe archive entries, excludes local credential and build caches from dependency packages, and adds verified download caching, four concurrent streams, and a Windows backup launcher.
1.30.88 · 10/17/2026: (Live site version 987) Adds administrator-authorized independent preservation exports for both sites, including complete archive databases and schema, original media, source and dependencies, GEDCOM, offline browsing and Photo Stories, SHA-256 manifests, encrypted packages and verified SQLite recovery.
1.30.87 · 10/17/2026: (Live site version 986) Adds searchable public person profiles and a family-name directory, with names and public family connections in the sitemap. Search results open the selected person in the People page; private information remains access-controlled.
1.30.86 · 10/17/2026: (Live site version 985) Adds crawlable public Home, About, and Help pages, search metadata and structured data, a public sitemap, and indexing exclusions for account and private-content URLs. Uses Pedraza Ancestry as the canonical address for both sites.
1.30.85 · 10/15/2026: (Live site version 984) Aligns the About-page crest and logo with the About this family tree label while preserving their sizes and horizontal positions.
1.30.84 · 10/11/2026: (Live site version 983) Adds Resend email verification for new Family Tree accounts and administrator controls to resend verification links. Family access remains subject to administrator approval.
1.30.83 · 10/10/2026: (Live site version 982) Reduces automatic synchronization to four daily runs at 8 AM, noon, 4 PM, and 8 PM Eastern, adjusting for daylight saving time.
The People, Stories, and Reports menus now use a shared fixed, scrollable individual-list component instead of separate selector implementations.
Administrators can review the detailed tree-change history in the Stewardship menu.
